Bengaluru: A person working for three government departments and also drawing three salaries has been nabbed by the Kalaburugi police.
Acting on a complaint that a youth has been working and drawing salaries from three departments, the police nabbed Ravikiran James Kattimani. The development happened after an advocate named Shrimantha Kattimani collected documents through RTI.
Ravikirana worked as a typist in the agriculture department, co-ordinator in the forest department and also as a guest lecturer in a government college. According to the sources, between 2015 and 2018, he was working in these three departments simultaneously.
The incident came to light when he secured a job at GKVK, Bengaluru recently by producing the experience certificate of guest faculty in a government college.
A case has been registered by Kalaburugi university police against him.
