The case was filed by the mother of a victim, alleging that the former CM sexually harassed her daughter when they went to meet him at his residence seeking help with a case.
Yediyurappa has strongly denied the allegations, and the government has handed over the case to the CID for investigation.
The mother of the victim recently passed away at a hospital due to lung cancer. Yediyurappa has stated that he will fight the case legally, claiming he is innocent.
