Bengaluru: To mark conclusion of ‘Janata Jaladhaare’ and as a start of campaign for Assembly Election 2023 JD (S) organised a massive public meet near Nelamangala here on Friday May 13.
Speaking to mediapersons on Thursday May 5, JD (S) leader H .D. Kumarswamy said, “Janata Jaladhaare campaign will conclude and therefore to mark this, the party will hold massive public meet at 70 acre vast land near Nelamangala. Over 4 lakh party workers and public are expected to participate in the event.”
During Janata Jaladhaare campaign the party has collected water from 51 river sources, which will be combined and a Ganga Aarti has also been planned, he said.
Stating that the event will be a message to both Nation and State, HDK said that the party is targeting at winning 123 seats out of 224 in the next Assembly Election.
JD (S) will also hold massive voter connect programme next month as second phase of election campaign.
