Ramanagara: Depressed over not getting admission man ends life

Ramanagara: A 22-year-old man ended him life on Thursday September 22 in Magadi town after he did not get admission at a US university, informed police.

The deceased has been identified as Sai Sanvit, the son of businessman Kiran Kumar. According to sources, he resorted to suicide at 10.00 am while he was alone at home. Sanvit got a BE in architecture from a renowned City college. He and his friends submitted their application to a US university three months ago with the intention of getting a foreign degree. Sanvit was the only one who didn’t get in, and this really disturbed him.

He was found hanging from the ceiling using a sari as a rope. There was no notice left behind.

Magadi police filed a case of unnatural death.
