Ramanagara: The Deputy Commissioner’s move to provide Government facilities to the people of the remotest village of the District is a boon towards the villages, said DC Avinash Menon Rajendran.
Speaking at a programme organised by the District Administration at Ajjanahalli Village in the Taluk, he said that the aim of the programme is to prevent the villagers from coming to the District Headquarters and provide them with Government services in their own village itself. He said that the decisions that can be taken at the District level will be taken in the village itself and efforts will be made to solve the problems of the people.
Tahasildar B. G. Srinivas Prasad said, “DC’s move towards the village is a very successful programme and the entire administration will come to the village and solve their problems there itself. Officials of various departments are present at the event and if there are problems of their respective departments, they will find a solution here itself. If there are any problems with the revenue department, pension, widow’s salary, disabled’s salary, error in pahani, Aadhaar card correction, etc., they will be resolved on the spot, he said.
