Ramanagara: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President D. K. Shivakumar has said that it is not important for him to become the Chief Minister but to bring the Congress party to power.
Speaking to mediapersons on the sidelines of the Prajadhvani Yatra at Jalamangala Village in the Taluk of the District, he reacted to the credit war between District In-Charge Minister Dr. C. N. Ashwath Narayan and Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy over the development of the District.
“H. D. Kumaraswamy has created the District. It is not wrong that they have developed it. But Ashwath Narayan had said that he would clean it up, did he do it? Have you seen the Vrishabhavati River?, he said.
He said that when he was the District In-Charge Minister, he had done a lot of development.
