Channapattana: For the last 20 years, the Municipal Corporation officials, instead of solving the issue of accounts of plots in CMC Layout, have been ignoring them as it belongs to backward classes, minorities and Dalits, said Retired Teacher Shivanna. “The local residents should come forward to put up a fierce fight against the Municipal authorities who are reluctant to give the original documents,” he urged.
Speaking at a preliminary meeting organised by the CMC Layout Citizens’ Welfare Forum at the Park in CMC Layout here, he said, “We have already filed a complaint in the Court through documents and we are confident that we will get justice on this.
“Sometimes when we are questioned about the accounts in the Municipal Corporation, they are falsely promising to open the accounts in the coming days by saying that we have nothing to do with it,” he alleged.
