Ramanagara: Complainant Sharath has threatened to go on a hunger strike in front of the Zilla Panchayat on Tuesday December 13, if action is not taken against the irregularities in the works taken up under the Jal Jeevan Mission Scheme.
Speaking to mediapersons here, he said that crores of rupees have been allocated to the Taluk for the ambitious project to supply clean water to every household under the Jal Jeevan Mission Scheme. However, crores of rupees of this project are being misappropriated by not doing the work as per the action plan, he alleged.
The work has been carried out using sub-standard equipment without even conducting a third party verification report and also without using tools as per the action plan, he further alleged.
