For the past two days, residents of Koramangala in Bengaluru have been grappling with the persistent buzzing noise of a plane circling above the neighborhood. Multiple users on social media platforms, including X, pointed out that a Boeing aircraft was making close passes over the HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) Airport area, completing approximately six circles.

According to Flightradar24, the tracked commercial flight was identified as a Boeing 777-337 (ER) bearing registration number K7067. This aircraft is commonly used to transport VVIPs such as the President, Vice President, and Prime Minister.

Flight data indicated that the plane originated from Delhi, departing at 5:32 pm on April 3. It then proceeded to circle around the HAL airport before returning to Delhi at 10:54 pm the same day.

Residents expressed their concerns about the disturbance caused by the low-flying aircraft. One resident described the plane as flying exceptionally close to the ground before ascending again without making contact. Some voiced frustrations over the constant noise generated by the aircraft, which they claimed to witness nightly.

Mohan Krishnan, a retired scientist from the National Informatics Centre, speculated that the aircraft’s flights could be related to maintaining its condition or pilot training, particularly considering the model code of conduct enforced during the Lok Sabha polls.

Residents reported witnessing the plane on multiple occasions over the past two weeks. An alumnus of the National Defence Academy noted that while HAL Airport serves as a defense facility, it is also utilized for training pilots for commercial airlines.
