Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basawaraj Bommai on Thursday February 10 has requested that everyone follow the court’s judgement ahead of the hijab case hearing.
Speaking to mediapersons he said, “Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court Ritu Raj Awasthi on Wednesday formed a full bench consisting of himself, Justice Krishna S. Dixit, and Justice J. M. Khazi to look into the Hijab issue. After they announce their judgement, I ask that everyone maintain law and order.”
The State Government announced the closure of all high schools and colleges in the state for three days on Tuesday, which brought calm to educational institutions that had previously experienced tense situations over the Hijab controversy.
