Bengaluru: The Bengaluru police collected vital clues from the CCTV footage which gives clue about the killers of RSS worker Rudresh. The killers are seen riding a Pulsar bike.It is gathered; state police have shared the vital information with all neighbouring states and are trying to find the identity of the killer appearing in footage.
Five member police investigation team formed to nab the accused is in constant touch with police officials of other states to hunt down the accused as they feel the murderers are hiding outside Karnataka.
Baffling last minute calls
Rudresh returned to his home after taking part in RSS flag march on the ill-fated day and received two calls in quick succession. In the conversation, Rudresh assures them of meeting them near a hotel. What is baffling the police is, soon after making calls the caller’s phones were switched off and they did not come near the hotel as per their commitment.
Shaken Police commissioner adds zip to ‘mission hunt’
The murder has shaken the entire city police team as it occurred in one of the crowded areas of the city. The city police commissioner keen on cracking the case is monitoring the investigations with eagles’ eye and is working round the clock to hunt down the accused. Commissioner who stayed back in the police station till the wee hours of October 17again rushed back to duty to guide his team during the funeral procession of deceased Rudresh to prevent untoward incidents. Even after that, tired city police commissioner N S Megharikh was seen monitoring the progress of the investigation in the commercial street police station under whose jurisdiction the murder took place. His committed investigation drive is pushing lower rung officers to nab the accused in quick time.
