Bengaluru: The police crackdown against alleged corruption in the hospital bed management has continued unabated. The Sadashivanagar police arrested three persons in connection with taking a bribe of Rs 1.2 lakh from a youth to adjust a hospital bed for his ailing mother.

Venkata Subba Rao ( 32) and Manjunath (31), employees of a private hospital and Puneeth (31), who is working as Arogya Mitra of BBMP are the arrested.

They allegedly collected money from a youth to provide bed in a city hospital. Patient finally got a bed in another hospital where she breathed her last. Her son had approached the police against the accused. Now the police have launched an investigation across the city over allegations of such scandals.
