SC verdict in disqualified MLAs case on Wednesday

Bengaluru/New Delhi: The constitutional bench of the Supreme Court will give its judgement in the disqualified MLAs case on Wednesday, November 13. Meanwhile, the nomination process for the by-elections of 15 constituencies will start from Monday, November 11.

This comes as a big relief to the 15 disqualified MLAs who resigned from the JD(S) and Congress to make way for the formation of the BS Yediyurappa-led BJP government in the state.

CM BS Yediyurappa has already started campaigning in all 15 constituencies by announcing a slew of projects. If the Supreme Court upholds the then-speaker KR Ramesh Kumar’s order, the disqualified MLAs are likely to field their family members in the by-polls.
