Bengaluru: Bellandoor police have filed criminal cases against seven persons who obtained Aadhar cards in others’ names, by submitting fake documents.
The accused, who claim themselves as Bengaluru residents, are Roobi, Riyad Khan, Mohammed Khalm Khan, Mohammed, Ohidul, Naheed and Zakir Hussein. Aadhar Bengaluru office Deputy Director Ashok Lenin had given a complaint against them.
Aadhar was provided to the accused based on the address proof, ID card, and other records. But, when their address was cross-checked, they did not reside at Ibbaloor junction as they claimed in the Aadhar records, said Ashok Lenin in his complaints.
