Siddaramaiah leaves for Delhi

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is expected to be present when Rahul Gandhi files his nomination for post of All-India Congress Committee (AICC) president at the party office in Delhi on Monday.

Sources in the Chief Minister’s office said Siddaramaiah, who is one of the proposers for Gandhi’s candidature, left for Delhi on Sunday evening and is expected to be back on Monday.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president G. Parameshwara, Energy Minister D.K. Shivakumar, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister H.K. Patil, and Bengaluru Development Minister K.J. George, among others.
