Bengaluru: Minister for Municipal Administration Ramesh Jarkiholi has become a cause of concern for the Congress party. After threatening the party of breaking all ties with it, now, Jarkiholi has caused major embarrassment to the Congress by attending a dinner party hosted by a BJP leaders. What left eyebrows raised was that Jarkiholi skipped Minister DK Shivakumar’s party in Belagavi and attended the BJP leader’s party.
Close on the heels of the same, former chief minister Siddaramaiah had reportedly summoned Jarkiholi and sought an explanation from him for the same. It is learnt that Jarkiholi visited Siddaramaiah at the Circuit House in Belagavi on Thursday and sources say that Siddaramaiah tried to convince Jarkiholi to make decisions carefully and not to take any step in haste.
To this, Jarkiholi is believed to have told Siddaramaiah not to attach any political attributes to his attendance at the party hosted by his friend Mahantesh Kavatagimath.
