Bengaluru: Home minister MB Patil has warned stringent action against rationalist KS Bhagavan, MP Pratap Simha, and union minister Ananth Kumar Hegde if they continue to disturb the social harmony by misusing the freedom of speech.
Speaking to the reporters, he stated that our statements must be within limits. It should not hurt others or sentiments of others. “If a few persons including Simha, Bhagavan, Hegade continue to make disturbing statements, the law will take its own course of action,” he said.
He also stated that the central government must act to put an end to the terrorist activities in the Jammu and Kashmir. “It is the need of the hour. We are losing the lives of innocent soldiers every day. It must end,” he said.
