Bengaluru: There has been no development in the 29-year -old technie’s missing case reported about one week ago.

It may be recalled that Ajitabh Kumar from Patna who worked at British Telecom, Whitefield, Bengaluru went missing last Monday, Dec 18.

It is said that Ajitabh may have had last gone to meet a prospective buyer for his car, after he placed an advertisement on OLX. Ajitabh had passed the IIM interview and hence wanted to sell his Maruti Ciaz car so that he could join IIM Kolkata in 2018.

Strangely, neither is there trace of Ajitabh’s car nor is his mobile phone reachable. He was last active on whatsapp around 7.10 pm the same evening that he went missing, but then his number remained switched off with last location of mobile phone being Gunjur, near Whitefield.

The police said that probe is on and so far they have not located anything abnormal in his professional and personal life. He was living with his friend Ravi in Whitefield since 2010.

Ravi told media that Ajitabh needed Rs five lakh to pay for the executive MBA course and hence he placed an ad to sell the car for about Rs 11 lakhs. He was last seen in casual wear and he did not tell Ravi as to where he was going.

Arnabh, Ajitabh’s brother is quoted in media saying that he may have been kidnapped by someone. Ajitabh’s friends and relatives have launched an online campaign to find him.
