Bengaluru: Joining the bandwagon on the debate on intolerance, Shiva Raj Kumar on Monday said, “Those who speak about intolerance should be forgiven. The concept of forgive and forget is best reaction.”
Speaking about one of the most important issues that is gripping the state he said that not only the film industry but every person living in Karnataka including media should come forward to support the implementation of the Kalasa Banduri Project.
Recalling his journey of 30 years in the Kannada film Industry he thanked all the Directors, co-stars and fans who supported him to complete successful 100 movies in his career.
He requested the fans not to compare him to Dr Raj Kumar. “He was a calm and composed person who never showed any anger. I, on the other hand do get a bit too emotional about certain situations and lose my temper. However, I never carry a grudge. I cannot be exactly like him but the lessons which I learnt from him will be followed throughout my life and career”
Answering a question about his future and the goals he has for himself he said that the Oscar Award is the dream award which he has been working for and “whoever comes with the best script I am always ready to work with them.”
He revealed that soon he will be sharing the screen with Kichha Sudeep and his brother Power star Punith Raj Kumar.
