Threatening letter to judge, cops: Four nabbed from Tumakuru

Bengaluru: Four persons have been taken into custody by the police on the suspicion of writing threatening letters to the judge hearing the Sandalwood drugs scandal case and the top cops of Bengaluru.

Rajashekar, Vedant, Shivprakash and Ramesh from Tumakuru are the accused. They are all related to one another.

As per Prajavani Kannada daily, all the four have been brought to Bengaluru for interrogation.

As per sources, the four shared a hostile equation due to property dispute and it is now said that Rajashekar had drafted and sent the letter to put the three others into trouble.

The letter addressed to the judge was attributed to Mohommed Jaish organisation and spoke about how a bomb will be planted in his car engine if he denies bail to drug scandal accused Sanjjana Galrani and Ragini Dwivedi.

Similar letter were also sent to Police Commissioner CCB Joint Commissioner too.
