Bengaluru: Bengaluru Police have arrested three men in connection with a house burglary case and recovered gold jewellery, motorcycles and other stolen property worth ₹81 lakh. The arrests mark a significant breakthrough in the investigation, with police also recovering vehicles allegedly used in the crimes.

Three accused arrested after investigation

According to police, the accused were apprehended following a detailed investigation into a house burglary reported within the city. Acting on specific information and technical evidence, investigators traced the suspects and took them into custody.

During interrogation, the trio allegedly confessed to their involvement in the burglary, leading police to recover a substantial quantity of stolen gold ornaments along with motorcycles linked to the crime.

Gold, vehicles among seized property

Police said the recovered property is collectively valued at around ₹81 lakh. The seizure includes gold jewellery and motorcycles believed to have been used during the commission of the offence.

Officials are also verifying whether the accused were involved in other burglary cases reported in Bengaluru and nearby areas. Further investigation is underway to establish the full extent of their criminal activities.

Police urge residents to stay vigilant

Police have advised residents to strengthen home security by installing CCTV cameras, securing doors and windows, and promptly reporting suspicious movements in residential neighbourhoods.

They added that timely information from the public and surveillance footage continue to play a crucial role in solving property crime cases across the city.
