Starting November 11, one side of the road near Shivaji Circle and Jyothi Cafe in Shivajinagar will be closed to vehicular traffic for 30 days to facilitate Namma Metro construction by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL). The Bengaluru traffic police have issued alternative routes to ease commuter access to the Shivajinagar BMTC Bus Stand and surrounding areas.

Restricted Routes:
- No entry for vehicles traveling from Balekundri to the Shivajinagar BMTC Bus Stand via Shivaji Circle.
- Restrictions also apply for vehicles moving from Shivaji Road towards Jyothi Cafe and the BMTC Bus Stand.

- From Balekundri to Shivajinagar BMTC Bus Stand: Take a left at Traffic Headquarters Junction, proceed along Infantry Road, and turn left at Central Street Junction to reach the Bus Stand.
- From Shivaji Road to Shivajinagar BMTC Bus Stand: Turn right at Shivaji Circle, continue via Venkataswamy Naidu Road, take a left at Balekundri Junction, then another left at Traffic Headquarters Junction, and proceed via Infantry Road to Central Street Junction.
