Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa is basking in glory after a massive victory in the by-polls. However, after wading through several hurdles, now BSY is all set to face yet another hurdle from the rebels.
If sources are to be believed, then rebel leader Ramesh Jarakiholi has demanded posts for all the defeated rebels as well in the government. This demand may become a major crisis for the BJP, which has agreed to make all the victorious rebels as ministers.
Most of the victorious rebels and the defeated rebels were seen heading to BSY’s residence in Dollar’s Colony on Wednesday morning. They are all expected to discuss the ministerial berth with the CM.
It may be recalled that as many as 12 rebel leaders had won in the recently held by-polls. The by-polls results were out on December 9 and only AH Vishwanath and MTB Nagaraj had lost in the by-polls.
As per sources, the rebels met in a hotel in the city on Tuesday evening. The meeting was led by Jarakiholi, who said that the victorious rebels need not worry about their future, but AH Vishwanath and MTB Nagaraj have lost the polls and hence there is a need to see what best can be done to them.
Jarakiholi then said that all the rebels must come together and pressurise the BSY-led government to ensure that the two get a suitable position in the government.
