Tumakuru: JD (S) Kolar District Election In-Charge Belli Lokesh, who recently resigned from the post of JD (S) State Spokesperson and primary membership of the party, joined the BJP along with his supporters in the presence of MP G. S. Basavaraju, District BJP President Ravishankar Hebbaka, MLA G. B. Jothi Ganesh, former MLA B. Suresh Gowda and several other leaders at the BJP’s campaign office in Bhadramma Chatra.
Welcoming Lokesh, and Senior JD (S) Vice-President Devaraju and others to the BJP fold, District President H. N. Ravishankar said that the BJP will win all the seven Assembly constituencies in the organisational district. He said that the development work done in Tumakuru city in the last five years will lead to the victory of the BJP and the voters have appreciated the changes that have taken place in the City and Jyothi Ganesh will win with the highest number of votes.
Joining the BJP, Belli Lokesh said that the BJP is the only party which is protecting democracy in politics and former MLA Suresh Gowda invited me to join the BJP. MLA Jyothi Ganesh had come to my house and invited me to join the BJP as I had good relations with everyone. I have found closeness with most of the people in politics despite being opponents and I am confident that my friends in the BJP will treat us with respect,” he said.
He said that he would fulfill the responsibility given by the party so that there is no lapse.
