Tumakuru: A bike rider was killed on the spot after a cement-laden lorry rammed into his bike near Doddamalawadi on TM Road on State Highway 33 on the evening of Sunday November 13.
The deceased has been identified as Ranganath (23), a resident of Shira Gate in Tumakuru. Ranganath, who originally worked as a carpenter, and his friend Wasim of Bengaluru came to Kunigal and were returning to their native place on a two-wheeler when the accident occurred.
A case has been registered at Kunigal Police Station in this regard.
