Tumakuru: The city police arrested the driver of the private bus that overturned in Palavalli village, Pavagada taluk, killing six people and injuring over 40 others.
The accused has been identified as Raghu. He fled the scene after the accident.
According to preliminary information, the tragic incident was caused by overloading and driving too fast in an accident zone.
Following the accident, the Chief Minister decided to give the deceased’s family Rs. 5 lakh on behalf of the government.
