Tumakuru: Candidates come in procession to file nomination

Tumkuru: G. B. Jyoti Ganesh for Tumakuru Urban Constituency and BJP candidate for Tumakuru Rural Constituency B. Suresh Gowda once again submitted his nomination papers to the election officials arriving in a procession.

They offered prayers at Ganesha Temple on B. H. Road and marched with the shouts of activists.

Procession passed through Lakkappa Circle, Town Hall, BGS Circle, BH Road, MG Road and reached Deputy Commissioner’s Office. A huge garland of flowers was showered from a crane on the candidates along the procession route.

Later in Tumakuru Taluk Office to Sub-Divisional Officer and Rural Election Officer B. Suresh Gowda filed nomination papers. Candidates Suresh Gowda, and G. B. Jyoti Ganesh’s plans of double engine Government have reached every house and this time the BJP Government is sure to come back to power, he said and appealed to the BJP to win in eleven constituencies of the District, including rural and urban constituencies.

MP and actor Jaggesh District President Hebbaka Ravi, Former Member of Legislative Council Dr. M. R. Hulinaykar, Former President of the BJP Y. H. Huchchaiah, BJP Board members, functionaries of various fronts of the party, media leader T. R. Sadashivaiah and other leaders were present in the procession.
