Tumakuru: Forest Department captures leopard

Tumakuru: A leopard, which had been troubling people for several days, has been captured in a cage kept in a field at Veerapura Village.

The Forest Department has succeeded in capturing a one-year-old male leopard, which has been attacking cows and goats for several days and causing a lot of losses to farmers. The public and farmers were fed up with the leopard menace and urged the Forest Department to capture the leopard.

The Forest Department managed to capture the leopard by placing the dog inside a cage in the field of a farmer in Veerapura Village of Midigeshi hobli in the taluk.
