Tumakuru: Former BJP MLA Gangahanumayya, Former GP member Kamala Gangahanumayya and film Actor JattiAgrahara Nagaraju, who was the President of Koratagere Taluk Bahujan Samaj Party, joined the Congress in the presence of Former Deputy Chief Minister and MLA Dr. G. Parameshwara and KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar.

Former MLA Gangahanumayya said that the BJP had organised the party in Koratagere Assembly constituency and contested in 2018 with the highest number of votes than all the candidates who contested in the previous elections and lost by a minority margin. Upset over being cheated by not giving a ticket to a new candidate, my family members, including my wife and former GP member Kamala Gangahanumayya, have left the BJP and joined the Congress party in the presence of a good-natured politician and a pioneer of development Dr. G. Parameshwara and KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar.

He said he would work hard.
