Tumakuru: Leaders and Villagers of Hurulugere and Singalipura in Kolala Hobli have demanded B-form for K. H. Muniyappa to contest from Koratgere Assembly Constituency.
Muniyappa has been working for the BJP party for the last four years. During the Coronavirus period, he has given food kits, sanitisers and helped in the renovation of many temples in the Taluk. He has distributed fodder to gaushalas, hospitals expenses for the poor, education expenses of poor children, and help in temporary construction of houses for the homeless in many parts of the Taluk. Recognising this service ticket should be given to Muniyappa, who is also responsible for the development of schools, the residents voiced.
They added, “There are four to five aspirants in the BJP and so far we have not seen the faces of those who have been left behind Muniyappa.
Muniyappa, who is doing good work on behalf of women, should be given a party ticket.” The villagers of Hurulugere and Singalipura have demanded that Muniyappa be given a ticket.
“If the BJP leaders try to give tickets to anyone other than Muniyappa, we will move away from the party,” they warned.
