Tumakuru: In a shocking incident, a Bengaluru-based youth, along with her lover, allegedly killed husband by giving supari of Rs. 20,000 to a Bengaluru-based youth on Madhugiri bypass road and buried the body by digging a pit in the field of a farmer in Koratagere in the District on Monday November 28.
The incident took place at the farm of Kolappa, a farmer from Basavanahalli Village under Baichapura Gram Panchayat limits of Holavanahalli Hobli in Koratagere Taluk. The deceased has been identified as Suresh (36), a resident of Durgadahalli in Doddaballapura Taluk.
Suresh’s wife Venkatalakshmamma had an illicit relationship with Lokesh (27) of Basavanahalli Village. In order to eliminate her husband, who was obstructing her from having an illicit relationship with another man, she killed him after giving a youth Rs. 20,000 supari.
