Tumakuru: In a shocking incident, a group of guests were seen throwing shoes in front of a portrait of Mother India placed on the dais during a union minister’s interaction with businessmen at Sneha Sangama Hall in Tumakuru.
There has been widespread criticism from the general public over the incident in which union minister Piyush Goyal was insulted by guests by dropping shoes in front of Mother India installed on the dais during the inauguration when he came to interact with businessmen.
The public is outraged that is this the respect given to Mother India at the Union Minister’s programme? Political leaders do not have the least concern for civil society.
