Tumakuru: JD (S) leader Honnagiri Gowda has appealed to his supporters, who left the Congress and joined the JD (S), to uproot the tree which has been deeply rooted for the last 20 years without any development.
Speaking at an induction ceremony at the JD (S) Office in Gubbi town, where hundreds of Congress workers backed by Honnagiri Gowda joined the JD (S). He said, “I have been wronged by the national parties. In this regard, we have joined regional party, he said.
JD (S) and I are continuously fighting for the victory of candidate Nagaraju, he said and added that the defeat of the Congress was bound to take place as thousands of Congressmen from all the panchayat areas had left the original party.
