Tumakuru: ‘Physical relaxation necessary for equilibrium of soul’

Tumakuru: K. S. Siddalingappa, President of District Kasaba, is of the opinion that physical peace is necessary for the equilibrium of the soul.

He was inaugurating a memorial programme for Nadoja Belgallu Veeranna, a leather doll artist who worked in collaboration with the Tumakuru District Cultural Organizations Union and Ranga Kirtana Sampada (R) Mallasandra, Kannada and Culture Department, Kannada Sahitya Parishad at the Dr. Gubbi Veeranna Kalakshetra in the City and spoke to those who were on the path of achievement.

Belagallu Veeranna said that he lived like an unworthy name and was a guide to others after being successful striving one day at a time.

K. S. Siddalingappa said that it was the blessing of my life that his entire family was involved in leather puppetry, which was on the verge of extinction. He took it to the international level, he noted.

H. M. Rangaiah, the Director of Sriranga Hobby Art Group, said that Belagallu Veeranna’s simplicity, his friendliness with everyone, the relationship between him and Natakamane Mahalingu, highlighted the events that led him to come to Tumakuru.
