Tumakuru: Thieves, who came on a bike on the pretext of asking for an address, snatched the gold chain of a woman standing on the roadside and fled from the spot at Bandihalli Village in Huliyoorudurga Hobli of the Taluk. Jayamma of Bandihalli Village was the woman who lost her chain.
While Jayamma was standing on the roadside on the way to graze a cow near the farm, two unidentified men on a white Pulsar bike stole a gold chain weighing around 30 grams on the pretext of asking for an address and fled.
Huliyoorudurga Police has registered a case in this regard and are investigating.
