Unacademy Ceo Hails Bengaluru As ''best City In India,'' Sparking Online Debate

Unacademy CEO Gaurav Munjal recently set the internet abuzz with his proclamation that Bengaluru is the “best city in India.” In a tweet, he highlighted the city’s allure, stating that everyone he met lately wanted to move there and that it’s the top choice for entrepreneurs and founders. “Everyone I meet these days wants to move to Bangalore. Best City in India. And the only place you should be if you’re thinking of starting a Company,” Munjal tweeted.

The tweet triggered a flurry of responses on X, with users divided in their opinions. Supporters praised Bengaluru’s vibrant startup culture and conducive environment for innovation. One user noted, “Bangalore does have that magnetic pull, doesn’t it? With its vibrant startup culture and dynamic environment, it’s definitely a top choice for entrepreneurial ventures.”

Others highlighted the city’s infrastructure, talent pool, and pleasant weather as key advantages. However, critics pointed out significant drawbacks such as high living costs, traffic congestion, and water shortages. One dissenting voice commented, “Literally the worst. Only good if you have a lot of money. Extremely high rent, water issues, transport issues.”

This is not Munjal’s first endorsement of Bengaluru; he has previously urged entrepreneurs to consider the city if they aim to succeed in the startup industry.
