Bengaluru: City traffic police have implemented temporary vehicle movement restrictions near Devarabeesanahalli Junction from May 2 to May 8 in an effort to ease congestion in the busy corridor. The HAL traffic division stated that if the pilot proves effective, the measures could be extended for a longer period.

The restricted stretch includes the route from Sakra Hospital Road to Devarabeesanahalli Junction, specifically in the west-to-east direction. Alternate routes have been suggested for commuters to avoid delays and confusion.

For those heading from Sakra Hospital Road to Devarabeesanahalli Junction, the advised route is via Sakra Hospital Main Road → Bellandur Kodi → Outer Ring Road (ORR) to reach the junction.

Vehicles moving towards Kadubeesanahalli Junction must take Sakra Hospital Road → ORR, turn left at Ganesh Temple Cross → Kadubeesanahalli Junction, make a U-turn, use the ORR service road, access Cesna Business Park, and then proceed towards Kadubeesanahalli.

Authorities are monitoring the situation closely to assess the effectiveness of these diversions. Commuters are urged to cooperate and plan their travel accordingly to avoid peak-hour disruptions.
