Bengaluru: Former MLA, BJP Tumakuru district unit President Suresh Gowda resigned from his post. He was in a dock over a viral audio clip in which he was found saying RSS leaders are corrupt.
Suresh announced his resignation through a social media post. He is likely to address a press meet on Tuesday September 27 to cite reasons for his resignation.
Suresh is a two-time MLA from the Tumakuru rural constituency. He is considered as the close confident of former CM B.S. Yediyurappa.
