Bengaluru: The conversation between Yatindra and his father, former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, sparked a major controversy. This was revealed through a series of tweets by HD Kumaraswamy. In response, CM Siddaramaiah defended Yatindra’s actions. Currently, DCM D.K. Shivakumar has accused the BJP of orchestrating a smear campaign against his statements.
DK Shivakumar, stated that if the BJP wins against the JDS, they will cancel the grant schemes. He emphasized the need to visit homes and reassure people, stating that they will implement the Youth Nidhi scheme in January.
The oversight of the grant schemes has been entrusted to the district in-charge ministers. They are directed to visit every household, gather information on the implementation of the guarantee schemes, and assess if any adjustments are required. Party workers are urged to persuade residents during door-to-door visits, emphasizing that voting for the BJP and JD(S) would lead to the cancellation of the guarantee scheme.
