Women push minor girls into flesh trade after luring them with jobs

Bengaluru: Based on credible information, the CCB sleuths raided a prostitution racket and rescued two minor girls who were being forced to indulge in flesh trade by two women here on October 31.

The two women Ambika, 26 and Deepa, 22 who were running the flesh trade business in Brindavan Nagar in Madivala have been detained by the officials.

It is learnt that two minors aged 12 and 10 years from Mandya, relatives of the accused were brought to the city on pretext of getting them jobs.

The accused had advertised the minor girls on Whatsapp and had offered them for a price of Rs 2 lakhs.

The incident came to light following which CCB sleuths sent a decoy with cash to the brothel, who later tipped off the police after confirming the presence of the victims. Police then detained the duo and rescued the minor girls.

According to sources, both the minor victims had lost their respective fathers recently. While one of the victims was a dropout after 4th standard, the other was in her 7th grade. The accused who knew about their poor financial condition lured their mothers by offering Rs 5,000 and brought the victims to the city on the pretext of getting them jobs.
