Bengaluru: In two seperate operations, Yelahanka police nabbed three people including a Ugandan national selling Cannabis, and seized 700 grams worth of illegal drugs.
In the first incident, the Yelahanka satellite town police team led by PSI A N Manjunath nabbed the Ugandan national Magoola John (25), presently residing in the Kattigenahali limits of Yelahanka, and seized 300 grams worth of cannabis in small packets. They also confiscated cash of Rs 95,200 and a mobile phone, when they nabbed him at 7 pm on October 24.
In the second incident, Yelahanka police led by PSI A G Manjegowda nabbed two history-sheeters named Muzzamil Pasha and Babu, both residents of Kogilu layout, Yelahanka on October 25. Police recovered 400 grams worth of cannabis in 20 small packets from them. They have been accused of selling illegal drugs to college students and the general public.
The police have registered a case 309/2017 under column (20) of the NDPS act against the latter two.
