Bidar: Wild Boar Attacks Surge in Forest Minister’s Home District

The Bidar district, home to Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre, has seen a sharp rise in wild boar attacks. Two separate incidents in different parts of the district have left three people seriously injured, including a woman.

The attacks occurred in Basavakalyan and Aurad taluks, highlighting the growing menace of wild boars in the region. Victims suffered injuries to their hands, stomachs, and thighs during the unexpected attacks.

In Basavakalyan taluk, Tukkabai and Sanjeev from Dasarwadi village fell victim to the attacks. Meanwhile, in Aurad taluk, 60-year-old Bhikkusab Fateli from Belur village was also injured. The incidents took place while the victims were working in their fields, catching them off guard.

Due to the severity of his injuries, Sanjeev has been transferred to a hospital in Hyderabad for specialized treatment. The other two victims are currently receiving medical care at the Bidar BRIMS District Hospital.
