GESCOM Introduces SMS Service to Enhance Customer Support for Electricity-Related Issues

Bidar: GESCOM (Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company) has introduced an SMS service to enable customers to report and resolve electricity-related problems efficiently. This new service complements the existing customer service centre toll-free helpline and WhatsApp helpline.

Customers can now register complaints via SMS to 9769368959, addressing issues such as power supply variations, bill payments, and other electricity-related concerns. The Customer Service Centre will immediately register the complaint in the PGRS (Public Grievance Redressal System) software and send a docket number to the customer’s mobile number via SMS.

The concerned Sub-Divisional Officer will be notified to resolve the complaint, and service station staff will visit the location to address the issue. Once resolved, customer confirmation will be obtained, and the complaint will be closed. Customers can track their complaint status on the GESCOM website.
