Chikkaballapur Congress MLA Pradeep Eshwar has refuted claims of his resignation following the circulation of an alleged fake resignation letter. Earlier, Eshwar had challenged former minister, BJP candidate Dr. K Sudhakar during the Lok Sabha elections, stating he would resign from his post if Sudhakar secured even a one-vote lead in his constituency. However, Sudhakar emerged victorious from the Chikkaballapur seat and also secured lead from Pradeep Eeshwar’s constituency.
In the aftermath of Sudhakar’s win, BJP leaders demanded Eshwar’s resignation, sparking online trolling against him. However, Eshwar clarified to reporters that he never submitted his resignation. He questioned the rationale behind his resignation, arguing that Sudhakar did not accept his challenge.
