Karwar: In a tragic incident, an employee of a private company, who had come to Gokarna from Bengaluru for a picnic, was crushed to death by the waves of the sea at Gokarna’s main beach.
The deceased has been identified as Abhishek (29), who took place near Gokarna Rudrapada.
He had come from Bengaluru with four friends and was playing in the sea when he got entangled in the waves. The lifeguard personnel tried to rescue him but could not.
A case has been registered at Gokarna Police Station.
