Karwar: A case has been registered against two groups after a clash broke out between two groups at the Shaadi Mahal of Badriya Jamia Masjid in Siddapura Town in Uttara Kannada District on Sunday November 6.
A meeting was held at the Shaadi Mahal of Badriya Jamia Masjid in Siddapur and the process of selection of the president and members of the mosque was held and Budan Saab was elected as the President by consensus.
When the Acting President of the mosque, Munawar Gurkar, started reading out the names on the chit, Budan Saab asked him to elect some members. Soon a scuffle broke out between the two groups of the mosque.
Two groups came to Siddapura Police Station and registered a case.
