Karwar: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday May 26 has reached the town here.
On Thursday, he interacted with Indian Navy personnel and their families at Karnataka Naval Area.
Addressing the officials and their families, Singh said, “Our defence personnel serve our nation diligently to protect as well keep it safe. Family members’ role too is very important with the unflinching support and strength they offer their family member who serving the defence forces, he added.
Singh on Friday May 27 performed yoga on the Karnataka Naval Area Beach, Karwar.
He is on a two-day visit to Karwar in Uttara Kannada District to meet Naval officials.
