Karwar: Due to the lunar eclipse on Tuesday November 8, vana bhojana, and laksha deepotsava will be held on Monday November 7 at Tirupati Sri Venkataramana Temple in Manjaguni, said Chief Priest Vidvan Srinivas Bhat.
As per the annual tradition, vanabhojana and laksha deepotsavam will be held. This time, as tripurakhya deepotsavam is on Monday, the deity will leave for the vana in the morning, vanabhojana will be held in the afternoon, lakshdeepotsava in the evening, pakshotsava etc.
As there will be a lunar eclipse on Tuesday November 8, there will be no utsav and prasad at the temple, the Temple Management stated.
Tripurakhya Deepotsava will be held at Sonda Swarnavalli Maha Samsthanan on Monday from 6.00 pm onwards and Seer Sri Gangadharendra Saraswati Mahaswamiji has asked the disciples to participate in large numbers.
Deepotsavam will be held in Sri Laxmi Narasimha Temple. Tripurakhya Deepotsava will be held in 10000 numbers from 6.00 pm onwards, Mahamangalarathi, Deepotsava and Prasadam distribution will be held. The deepotsavam is being held a day earlier as there will be an eclipse on Tuesday, said Matha Administration Committee President V. N. Hegde, Bommanahalli.
