Karwar: The Ministry of Home Affairs of the Government of India has also banned PFI in the country, said Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan.
The Deputy Commissioner said that an order has been issued to ban the organisation under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967. The order is issued in the wake of a report that the organisation was also carrying out illegal activities at two places. While one is at Bhatkal Taluk and the other is in Sirsi Taluk of the District.
