Karwar: ‘Praveen murder accused will be arrested soon’

Karwar: Uttara Kannada District In-Charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary has said that a large number of accused have been arrested and all the remaining accused will be arrested soon after getting preliminary evidences in connection with Praveen’s murder case.

Speaking to mediapersons in Karwar on Saturday August 6, he said that there could be a conspiracy to derail the investigation. However, the Home Department and Senior Police Officials are camping at the spot to prevent such tragedies. The accused will be arrested no matter how difficult the situation is. All the accused in Harsha murder case have been arrested. Now the work is on to nab all the accused in the Praveen murder case. In addition to this, the CM has also said that in other murder cases that have taken place in the vicinity, all the accused will be arrested without any consideration of any class, he stressed.

Stating that the Congress is here only to blame us, Poojary said, “I am asking Siddaramaiah that what was he doing when 23 murder took place during his tenure. Many of the accused were released during his tenure. The incidents that are happening now are the ripple effects of the then negligence. The intelligence information has been taken the way it should have been taken. There is no need to disclose all the intelligence inputs. The District Administration will take information about this and send whatever is required to the State. Incidents of assault, which are common, are also curbed. The Intelligence Department will be further strengthened, he added.
